Summer Training

The Cadet Program offers the best experience, including local Cadet Activity Programs (CAP) for year one and two cadets, Hybrid Training, e-learning courses, In-Person Cadet Training Centres (CTCs), and international exchanges. For more information, visit the national cadet website.

There are Cadet Training Centres (CTC's) located in various provinces across Canada.
Cadets are selected to attend summer training based on their attendance, behaviour, and other attributes that they have shown throughout the cadet training year. You must have been a cadet prior to March 31st in order to be considered and apply for summer training and be in your third year of training.
CTCs offer more in-depth study and experience in the area in which you are selected to participate, such as physical activity, mountain biking, marksmanship, drill or music. Summer camp, as cadets fondly call it, is located on the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, the Rocky Mountains and everywhere in between. Some summer training centres involve all three elements (Sea, Army, and Air Cadets) learning and working together in one location.
If you are selected to participate in summer training you will have the chance to travel to a CTC across Canada where you will meet other cadets from all over Canada. It is the chance to meet friends for life during an experience you will never forget!
Once you get accepted for camp, you are given joining instructions. If you misplace yours please click one of the training centres below.
Joining Instructions
If you are going to any CTC in Ontario, there are TWO joining instructions. There is the general one and the specific camp joining instructions.
